Pinkishu
Just curious, I'm sure someone else thought of this and might want it xD Haven't ever tried Bethesda modding but maybe I'll even try it if noone else does... Basically, you saw Red Menace? Apparently thats stored on a holotape, so hey, shouldn't all kinds of programs be able to be on those? Maybe with some special terminal or something you could write code (in a simple assembler language?) that can be tested and then written to a holotape where other things can play it. Giving the ability to write software or minigames like we already have seen them in the game.Maybe even with a sharing thing and other palyers can randomly find holotapes (created by the player and downloaded to the world of others via some sort of webhosting) as loot or such
DarkPurity
I'd be all for being able to take personal journal notes on a hold tape and store them. Also, a PipCam that let us store screen shots we can later craft into wall deco would be cool.
codepony
I was thinking the same thing, but maybe a LUA interface, easily for most to learn than assembly language is. The ability to write programs to control the light boxes and sound things would be heaven to me.
thehiddenedge
I actually read somewhere that beth had implemented a working python console into the terminals, but decided to remove it before release. Damn xbox and ps4 casuals ruining stuff.
codepony
I would be okay with Python, it's one of the languages I know. Hopefully they will add it back in at some point.
