Mod Reqiest - FEV Dip (Play as a supermutant)

The GECK will not be out for a while yet but this is something that rather interests me. That said, considering how similar the engine is to Skyrim's, when it does come out we'll see a bunch of stuff coming out rapidly.

 

Adding a quest chain that triggers a series of events that ends up with you going for a ye-olde dip in a FEV tank and having it alter the gameplay style.

 

Things that would go well in it

-Remove the ability to use certain weapons (Pistols and small rilfes, hands couldn't use them anyway)

-Remove the ability to use certain armors (Maybe put in custom crafted power armor, it has been done by the BOS in the past)

-Alter npc text to be more openly hostile towards your character

-Alter interactions with other important characters, because not everyone loves a supermutant, or can resist the urge to shoot them.

-Significant boost to strength and endurance (Maybe to intelegence? Perhaps different vat dips for different mutants, see Nightkin vs 1'st Gen supermutant, vs 2'nd Gen supermutant (the dumb dumbs))

-Voice overhaul - Most supermutants suffered from lip overgrowth, leading to the necessary bracers to hold the lips up

-NPC Panic effect (Random neutral NPC's will either panic and run or try to shoot you. Make the shooty part extremly true of Brotherhood of Steel members if not a member of the faction)

-Rapid regeneration (Especially in irradiated places)

-No radiation sickness/poisoning

- Bashing in locks/doors (potential loss of content inside due to this)

 

 

Potential addons

- Quest for a cure - quest line to change back, only usable x1 per playthrough if at all

- The rebirth of the Master - You finish what the master could not in Fallout 1 (Abduct settlers, dip, super mutant army)

- Talking deathclaw complanion - And you thought they were extinct.

 

Could keep going on this for quite some time, but it'd be amazing to see some additional character diversity and emergent gameplay, being put as an object of terror in the eyes of most wastelanders scratches that itch something fierce.
