Endrance
I looked for hours to find a gore mod and Gorier Blood was the only one that seemed to exist. It came with no .esp file, just some textures and things, which I put into their appropriate places. I set the INI settings to what he specified, and nothing. I'm running Deadly Reflex and the only time I see the blood is when I decapitate, sever, or cut the wrists off of someone, there still isn't any blood showing on my weapon, or any decals on the ground, but the blood flows on the corpse, and the dead persons weapon, if they are still holding it. I run oblivion 640x480 resolution no AA no HDR nothing. So I thought my computer couldn't display it at all. But it works with the beheading. Do I need to do something else to install the mod? Is deadly reflex making it not work? Or can't my computer even display it. I know I have a hyperthreaded cpu so the threaded options should work. I'll try disabling deadly reflex but I doubt it will help. Any suggestions would be nice. Thank you. I thought I had the 1.2 update. But I didn't. I can get the decals on actors and the floor, but they aren't the good models, and I still get no blood on my weapon. Rohssan, however does get blood on her weapon when she attacks me, but I've killed her and used her weapon and I still can't get blood to show on the weapon. Does Deadly Reflex 3 have anything to do with the blood seen on weapons?
Endrance
Sorry to double post, but I thought it was warranted after I did even more searching and reading. I am now running oblivion vanilla no OBSE no mods nothing. Same blood problem Rohssan gets all the fun and I don't I use no mods that alter the BSA archives in any way, nor have I ever. The only thing left for me to try is starting a new save. I will edit the results in shortly.
maceiver
I find that when most things go invisible in the game world, that updating the ArchiveInvalidation.txt file seems to fix it. Try OBMM. It has built-in functionality to do this.

I didn't choose to do the archiveinvalidation file, but edit the BSA files directly with it.

But even with creating an archiveinvalidation file, and after removing the mod I still get no blood, but I was using hilarity and one of the marauders got blood on his sword, the second npc that I have seen it work for. Anyone have any ideas?
