TheIceBadger
So I have found out that while having the fusion cores supposedly last long with maxing out the perk, it ends up not being that way because I end up ejecting them on accident when I have run out of grenades. It's a tad annoying that holding Alt with no grenade, launches a little nuke out of your back, into something I probably did not want to blow up, including myself from time to time. I am a heavy grenade user and I end up with this issue constantly, heavy hitting melee attacks are now also an issue. Would be nice to have the fusion core eject entirely removed but with the longer lasting part still there.Ideally have it so that it would only launch if you have it selected like you select a grenade. TFlok
Eh, Honestly. We just need a mod that allows us to map more keys on the keyboard for things like ejecting cores and picking up bodies and items (have exited by accident from my suit tad too many times because the button has multiple functions, quite irritating). NexusInvi
I found a workaround for this problem. You can simply remove the Fusion core perk with command player.removeperk 001ds471 in the game consoleThen you can install the 75% option of the Configurable Power Armor Fusion Core Drain mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/325/? This should make your fusion core last as long as with the perk but you will not be able to blow yourself to pieces when you run out of grenades ;D

There should be another control to do it, not the same button used for grenades. This was a less than optimal move for Bethesda to set it up this way. Play testing should have caught it. This is the kind of thing I was looking for :smile:The console command you gave doesn't work for me, however. ...looking further.a/o 2/20/2016 it seems the code to use is 001d2471, which worked for me.Also, if I'm not mistaken, the 50% option would be the one that matches the in-game fusion core drain for that perk. lilkandeekid
Check out my mod Fusion Core Eject Removal, http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8226/?Takes away the eject from the perk to you can keep the perk and not blow yourself up. Slowly working on a way to allow you to use the core eject like a weapon. Edited February 20, 2016 by lilkandeekid
