my specs are i5 2.6 ghz and Gtx 750 . Launcher says " Unindentified graphic hardware settings may have been set to low"

now i cannot increase my graphic settings manually. Fallout 4 is launching on lowest settings without Full screen. when i untick "windowed" option. resolution box goes empty for me.

This is a known bug, people at steam and reddits were discussing too. i want to know is there and configuration tool in which i can increase my graphic settings

By editing .ini File. i can increase my graphic settings. but i dont know about where would i find all Graphic options.

I had the same problem. I'm using a MSI Z97 mobo. My BIOS was outdated, so I flashed it. Then I found out there is a MSI specific device driver for the onboard Intel chipset. Updated the Intel chipset device drivers. Then I found out there was a MSI specific device driver for the PCI-E 3.0 network bus, so I updated it. Started Fallout 4 and it correctly picked up my NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X video card and set up the video parameters to Ultra. No stuttering and a stable 56-60 FPS. I suspect my problem was using a Microsoft generic PCI-E 3.0 network bus device driver.

So, visit your mobo manufacturer's website and download and install any specific device for your motherboard. The PCI-E 3.0 device driver is critical. Most people think that having the latest device drivers for their video card is good enough, forgetting the video card talks to the rest of the mobo through the PCI-E 3.0 bus.

I have been over every fix there is for this and none of them work , i think it has more to do with windows other than anything else , AMD , INvidia , ATI it does not matter this is a constant problem across all forms of hardware so its either the OS or the game . i have gone as far as using regedit.exe to change single 1/0 like i have done in the past to get other games to detect the graphics card and it still did not work . other than that i have no clue cause this is by far not a hardware problem or a software problem on the side of the graphics card . i have spent days working on this problem and all my computer wants to do is strictly run the game using CPU and avoiding detection of my GPU .every other game i own works perfectly other than skyrim but hey those 4k textures are so worth it ! i am so going to sleep at this point cause i have been at it for over 36 hours trying to fix this problem . removing drivers , change privileges , updating drivers editing the registry reconfiguring just about everything other than the game itself and the way its coded or windows for the most part other than editing its registry to force it to detect the graphics card through its processes . i give up !

on a side note i could not find a update for my modo cause its something called a I-cake motherboard and searching that on google is a pain since all it brings up is motherboard cakes . other than that everything on my computer is updated ,

According to Both AMD, and NVida, it is the Game Launcher that is the problem, it's not your hardware, the drivers, OS. or anything else it is all in the Game Launcher. What you'll find Ironic is Both Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, WILL see your Graphics card, and Fallout 4 won't I have posted Screen shots of this here https://bethesda.net/community/topic/190071/rainbow-textures-fallout-not-recconizing-video-hardware/3
