BRONSONDT
Don't know if it can be done, but if so I think it'd be a bit brilliant if someone could tweak the jumping/falling animations so they look a bit less stupid? At the moment it seems to be a case of less jumping and more just launching yourself up in the air without any muscle/limb movement, and then just staying completely rigid in some daft position in the air. Can it be done?
ninja_lord666
I hope someone fixes this. I hate jumping off a cliff in third person. I look like Wile Coyote. I run up to the cliff. I run off the cliff. I run through the air. I stop. I fall. It's so sad...

My nord should be able to launch himself in the air using his bulging muscles. Of course, he won't be able to do it as gracefully as a Khajit could. And what about the ability to grab onto ledges? It's a platform standard, and while Oblivion is no platformer, it would make it easier to get around some places. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Listen to Heavy Metal and the Grunge Gods will thank you

Vagrant0
Can it be done? No. While you could probably script a paralyse effect to be triggered when the player (or some specific actor is falling) it would apply every time that thing fell. This becomes a problem when paralysis isn't an instant recovery type thing. Meaning that stepping down from 1 foot high step would cause you to temporarily lock, fall over, pick yourself up. Going down a series of stairs would start the same way, but as you tumble to the ground, the effect would occasionally remove itself, only to reactivate. While this would prove rather comical in most cases, it would make most usual movement difficult or impossible. Maybe when I get bored I'll whip up something like this, but it would hardly be playable. Just don't jump off any cliffs in 3rd person.
