alright so i have finished the game with the institute and i use the synth relay grenades all the time when i can because they are fun as, however the price for the grenades isn't worth the generation one synths that get relayed, i was hoping someone would be able to mod the grenades to relay instead of unarmored crappy synths instead relay in synths like the ones shown guarding the institute with the synth armor and all that, and i even had a better idea of adding a courser relay grenade that spawns a friendly courser, however i have also noticed that using a synth relay grenade near a player made settlement basically makes the synth want to destroy your home and was wondering if anyone could make it that the synths were not massive retards and attacked anyone that wast you

do you think its possible that someone could do this ??

i was wondering (cause im s#*! at modding any game files) to possibly unlock the institute beacon for permanent use instead of story line use as it spawns gen 2 synths and at the very least making them available in the institute requisition store

can this be done without the GECK being released?

there a mod that already lets you build synth relay grenades, however if you blow up the institute they will not work

 

i also agree with idea of relay grenades bringing gen 2 synth (coursers might be a bit to much considering there a courser companion). the gen 1 synths are garbage in vanilla game, and completely useless if you use a dmg over hull mod... ( i use realistic dmg which make dmg be 3x normal dmg, one bullet equals dead synth). so yeah if this can be done with the current modding tools and some was to do it would be greatly appreciated!!!!
