mike130 Posted April 13, 2007 Share Posted April 13, 2007 Oblivion crashes whenever I enter the guard barracks in the IC. Wouldn't really care, except it's the only way to complete the 1st Thieves Guild quest, and I'm a thief(ish) character. The first floor is fine, but I try to go up the floors and it causes my game to crash. Sometimes I can get all the way up to Lex's office before it crashes... I have tried it with all my mods on and with all of them off. There are some mods which cannot be deactived through OBMM which I have not uninstalled (map mods, Jarrod's texture pack, etc.). With my previous installation of Oblivion, I had no problems doing this quest. Please give me a solution either to the crashing (or a way to find the fault), or to somehow pass the quest. BTW. Doing player.additem to get the records doesn't work, since Christophe (sp?) doesn't let me tell him I have the records. Is there any way to go around this? Thanks in advance.
