the game runs pretty smooth. the only time i lock up is when something big is loading so i don't mind that a whole lot.. but when i'm looking around scavenging for parts the stuttering makes me a little motion sick. i don't know how to fix it. also i'm using a pc Xbox gamepad. not sure if that's relevant.

not sure if it's necessary, but here's my specs. (pulled from steam system information tab)

Does this happen only or primarily indoors? If so, I think it's a Vsync problem. I fixed mine by running in windowed mode, disabling vsync in falloutprefs.ini (don't forget to make that read-only), enabling Vsync via ENB and limiting the framerate to 58FPS (ENB's vsync sometime allows the game to creep above 60FPS and cause screen tearing). There's a mod claiming to fix some problems associated with Vsync. If this is a vsync problem, that might also help (but I haven't used it or even looked carefully at it).

If you're not having the same problem I was, then I can't help you. Sorry.
