Problems with 1.2 patch

This weekend I installed the 1.2 patch. I don't have SI intalled, I just needed it to run the latest mods. That's when the fun started.

 

First thing I noticed was that vanilla textures were suddenly gone (yellow exclamations in-game). Other fun problems include "wandering textures" (frex: IC Marketplace the grass at the side of the roads suddenly replaces the street texture but only from certain angles). And my personal favorite: people with no faces, just eyes, mouth, hair and the back of their head -- reminds me of Yul Brenner in Westworld)

 

Now, for the crowning glory, the game gets violently retarded with scripts it is running. It chews up processor cycles making the game slow down to one frame every three to five seconds (if I'm lucky) for any effected object currenty visible (turn down "Actor Fade" slider and problem might go away if the script object is no long visible. Not sure I'm being clear here.

 

The only thing I'm sure of is that it seems to be effected by "do once" actions. Two examples: in the starter dungeon where you are invited to do target practice on the bucket. My game slows down when looking at the bucket, but as soon as I shoot it the problem clears itself. A second example, the female pirate on the waterfront. Game bogs down until I talk to her, then it clears. Wierd.

 

I don't know how to go about fixing this. The only recent mods I've installed are the Tabaxi Race, 1.2 update, and the 1.2 updated version of Francesco's. Anybody got any ideas how to go about figuring this thing out?
