Xebarsis
Hi, I had a lot of time on my hands, so I went and downloaded 327 different mods. I have already created the files through the Oblivion Mod Manager, and all I need to do now is activate them. Unfortunately, every mod I activate takes about 4 minutes each. It's going to take me months to activate all these files! I've tried disabling automatic archive validtion, but it hasn't helped much. Any suggestions? There is a much easier way to activate mods. Simply extract them to your oblivion/data folder, using winrar or another zip/rar program. i do not have much experiance with the mod manager so you probably mean something way different then what i am saying.327mods? Thats a lot, and may slow down or bug your game a bit

Xebarsis
You can only have 254 mods active at a time. There's a freakin' limit!? Alright, well despite the limitation, is there any way I can speed up the activation process?
DeusXMachina
As said above - don't use OMODs, use the normal archive files, extract them manually to your datafiles and then activate the .esp-files all at once. And use a conflict detector if you clutter up your game with such a bunch of mods without testing them one by one.
Povuholo
But don't panic if the conflict detector says there are conflicts, because often (unless you really downloaded two mods that do the same thing) these aren't real/critical conflicts.
