philipcthompson
The artillery mechanism is very neat because it requires several npc's to be assigned to specific objects. Currently, the player must throw the targeting grenade so that the npc's know where to aim. It is also possible to equip companions with weapons, such as grenades, and see them used in combat. It is possible to direct companions to go places and attack enemies since there is a command system. What is best way to force a companion to throw an artillery targeting grenade on command? Can I design a companion who uses the grenades as their default? Is there a way to design a command to tell companion to throw grenade at a target? These are two very different directions to pursue and feedback is appreciated. I want to enable the player to perform a siege while laying down cover fire for their brave and daring companion. Silentdagger
There is no way to do that as of yet, as far as I am aware. The only way to really do something like that would have to be through the GECK and even then you would probably have to script something and/or enable it via the MCM.
