ninja_lord666
I my opinion, mercantile is pretty overpowered. If you get it to one hundred, every store instantly has 500 more gold PLUS you can invest another 500 for a total of 1000 extra gold that will let you get more money from expensive things like daedric armour/weapons. Also, with a master of mercantile, no matter what, you will always buy and sell at 100%At least it's not as bad as in Morrowind. Then, I could go to a store buy everything for little or no money, then sell it back for multiple times it's worth. That was an easy way to make money. ivxx
etty much the best thing i can get right now cause this guy is only lvl 16)... When I had the marksman the game wasnt as fun... Even with OOO or without w/e. how do you stay UNDER level 20 in a small amount of time.<----thinking leveling shouldn't be about leveling skills as ABOVE we've seen that some skills are insane compared to others. For instance, restoration/ alteration: both spells are "dependant" on willpower, HOWEVER, shooting an unlock spell at a chest, drawers, door, chiferobe, (spelling?) for 41 or a bit more spell casts at level 99 gets you a level, while at skill 25 it takes over 30 "heal me" spells to raise resto is crazy. OR perhaps thats the balance ? SINCE it costs me that many spellcasts sitting in one spot doing the same thing over and over for that amount of time, theres NO FRIGGIN way i would....stand in one spot and cast that spell over and over and over for that amount of time? Human ingenuity wins over. We created fire damnit. we can do simple math. trick us for once.
LimaBeanMage
I would have to agree with others that illusion is pretty overpowered. It is only overpowered because it gives some much control over the situation to the player. While it in itself does not win the battle it certainly can be exploited into a loop that will win the battle hands down. (kind of like standing on a rock casting snowball on a melee fighter) Paralyze, calming touch, invisibility, and chameleon offer too much control over enemies. It's kind of overpowered to make an enemy incapable of doing anything while you beat them to a bloody pulp. As defensive as invisibility and chameleon are, I have yet to see an enemy cast detect life and clock me upside the head as I try an easy escape. Other skills are overpowered as well, I think they are so because of enemy A.I. They can use the same spells, weapons, items, and potions that we can (well, mostly the same weapons/armor and spells anyway). If something is overpowered and A.I. was extremely well done then we would get a thick face-full of computer enemies doing the same cheap and dirty tricks that we get away with. eightoneone
Well, I'm using a LOT of mods here...I think Sneak is generally the most overpowered if you're good at getting archery or melee hits with it. Just for shear damage potential, I can kill a mage or archer in a single hit while sneaking with a bow or melee weapon.Anyway, about AI using cheap tactics... I'm using Scorn's vampirism and MMM right now, and they do the Life Stealy Thing almost continuously, along with a chameleon that makes it hard to see their actions. The Life Stealy Thing paralyzes and does huge damage, and they just smack me when I'm down 'till I die. Nasty.Oh, and I've had a Dremora mage (Kynreeve, I think) kite me a couple of times... annoying.
