CarrotFerret Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I'm currently trying to edit the text in loading screens. I've tried editing the .swf files, even the Translate_en file, but I've yet to find the source of the loading screen text. Anyone have any clue where it might be located in the game's files?
CarrotFerret Posted November 22, 2015 Author Posted November 22, 2015 Any advice on how to edit the .esm file?
zilav Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Any advice on how to edit the .esm file? Wait for official tools. Other methods used now by some starting mod makers with wrong tools produce corrupted plugins.
CarrotFerret Posted November 22, 2015 Author Posted November 22, 2015 I'm wondering how similar the process would be to say, extracting textures from a .bsa file and then placing the modified texture in the data folder. Would that not work with an .esm file? Would I absolutely need to create a plugin for a modified LSCR file?
