I do believe that the game should have some other ways to acquire perk points besides only leveling up.
Truly hard quests and epic enemies, Getting max relationship with a companion, Super legendary beasts roaming on the map with 3+ legendary creatures accompanying it, etc (give your suggestion at the comment section)

 

 

New uses for perk points besides just buying perks.

I have an army! = 10 Mr. Gutsy fall from the sky (only open places) to help the player - Self-destructs after 2 minutes and have no loot

We have a Rulk. = + 50 dmg resist + 30 Energy Resist + 95% Rad resist + 2000 Unarmed Damage + 5x Jump Height 2.5x Speed + Immune to fall damage + Slow continuous HP regen + 2x size - Can't use ranged weapons

Rematch = Full restore HP, AP, Rad + Full repair armor + full refil Fusion Core after next "death" (HP = 1) + remains till next death even after 24h.

Braminseye = Temporary unlimited AP + 95% all VATS shots + Limitless 100% Crit

Reloading! = + x Ammo depending on weapon (+ 500 10mm, + 250 .308, +1000 .50, etc)

Stay Sharp = 1h of +10 to all S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

SHUT UP! = Pacify all in long range, won't be attacked for 1h

Itches a bit... = Temporary damage, energy & rad invulnerability + full rad and life heal

Short Flash = Stops time for a few seconds + Goes from [Danger] to [Caution] -Can't attack while time is stopped

Vanish from the mind = Goes from [Danger] to [Hidden] instantly and invisible for 5 seconds

Open Sesame = InstaHack/InstaLockpick any level for 24h ingame

POWEEER!! = +50 Fusion Cores + 5 minutes unlimited AP

Fullhouse = +10 settlers +10 max settlers + x resources to workshop + 10 free sleeping bags to workshop

MONEY!... Doesn't feel quite the same. = +1000 Pre-War Money
See ya. = 20x Speed 10x Jumpheight + Invunerable to Fall damage - Can't attack
Ideas? = +50 creativity to reader
PS: Can only use one per day (24h), can't reuse the same for 7 days (168h).

Extra: Remove the SPECIAL from the Perk tree, creating other methods to raising your SPECIAL.
Training quests, Certain act repetition over-time like Number of enemies killed, Number of successful crits, Number of successful persuasions, etc

 

Making it so that the stats rise differently from just buying 1 at each level and more onto the player's own playing style. Also could raise the level cap of a stat for new mod added perks, quests and so on. Also, raising the limit on the Charisma SPECIAL for example would also raise the limit of settlers on each of your settlements, kind of removing the need of a mod for that end.

Going over some old postings of mine to check the ones I believe to be most awesome and ask the community if it is possible or if it already exists. Does anyone know?
The ones I'm commenting on are the ones I actually wanted the most when I was playing. I really wish to see at least one of these to have become a reality, and if even one does, I will make a clean install of the game just to check it out.
