icecreamassassin Posted November 22, 2015 Share Posted November 22, 2015 So I, like everyone else, have experienced massive CK issues over the years. Recently however my CK began to crash every five minutes. This was after I upgraded to Windows 10. Well I had other issues with Windows 10 and so after a week of frustration I reverted back to Windows 8 but found my CK still was not behaving at all. So I wiped everything out, installed Skyrim again, installed only the loose files for my mods which I'm currently working on, and left all other mods installed via MO. I upgraded my RAM to 16GB and lo and behold my CK has not crashed once in over 24 hours of being constantly open and working on things in a few hour stretches at a time! Basically just make sure to keep textures, meshes and scripts to a minimum in your DATA folder (I drag in scripts I need to work with and after I am done assigning properties I delete them) load BSA's into your editor ini instead and the CK seems to overall behave 500% better than it ever has for me. So keep that in mind if you are fighting with the CK seizing up or crashing every couple hours. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
