TatsuAyers
Basically, I played on ultra since I got the game, which looks great, and decided I wanted the better looking eyes and teeth. I went into my INI files and enabled mods and now I have no normal/bump maps loading for whatever reason. Everything looks completely flat and there are no shadows on the ground from me or my companions. I have reverted the settings in the INI files and even set my graphics lower than ultra, but nothing fixes it except for a total reinstall of the game without mods. When I reinstall the game and then play it looks fine until the moment I enable mods again. I am not changing any other settings in the INI files other than what is listed. I dont even have to install any mods and the normal/bump mapping and shadows become disabled.Any help is much appreciated.
throttlekitty
Can you paste the sResourceDataDirsFinal= line you've edited? And you're positive that you have no meshes\ or textures\ folders inside Fallout 4\Data\ now?

TatsuAyers
Ive narrowed it down to something very odd going on with my LOD settings. Basically I have to set the game to draw an insane distance (Like 100 times normal) in order for objects in the world to have any bump mapping or speculars. Otherwise all the textures are a pixelated blurry mess without bumpiness. What is this?
throttlekitty
Well that's something at least. I get the feeling I'm missing something in what you're doing.
