ComicKaze
Does anybody know what's causing this? I've turned off all my mods and yet the game still doesn't load textures for bodies leading to very wierd results. Usually the skin is bland and doesn't match the head from the neck up. I had never changed the body textures before. IE: the skin tone will not have any texturing and will simply be a lighter shade or a lightmapped area that will be a different tone than the head/hands. Is this a common problem? I tried using a few of the body mods here in case something had happened to the original textures but they also turn out bland and the different is obvious between the body and the head/hands/feet. It's fine if I keep clothes on people but otherwise, it looks very ood, especially characters with clothes with wide necklines.
Vagrant0
Probably a result of body mods you installed. You would need to remove the textures and meshes in your data folder to disable them, just disabling the .esp would only make them not work. In vanilla oblivion, The bodies are always a lighter colour that the head. It has to do with the game having to find the exact hue you pick for the skin colour and placing it on the body. Unfortunately, the game isn't very good at doing this :P It always ends up lighter.

I'll try to grab a screenshot but what I mean is that, on the normal Oblivion bodies, there are darker lines on it to show the various muscles and they are just 2D parts of the texture that add shadowing and lines to the skin. When those disappeared, the entire skin gets the "hue" treatment but everything is bland and there is no detail or any pixelation. The bodies are just smooth. When I tried downloading a new body mod to rectify the problem, I found that the same thing happened, and the tell-tale signs of that were that the new body shapes were there, but again, details like ab muscles weren't. I tried a nude mod just to prove my theory and yep, there are no nipples or pubic hair!
ninja_lord666
Huh...that's not normal. I have no idea how something like that could have happened.
