IdleHands90
It's really sad that they didn't have any lever action or pump action rifles/shotguns. I'm certain there will be a mod that adds these in time, but I just don't get why they are not included in the first place. Like unless I missed it there is only the double barrel shotgun and the combat shotgun (which are moddable but still). And there is no lever action of any sort? blew my mind. Anyway I just wanted to request more weapons and action types please. Also the revolvers (and double barrel shotgun) have no empty shells when ejected they just disappear no sound of the casings hitting the floor (i love that sound). Thanks,Idle Hands
HaeKaula
There are lever-action rifles with both Pipe and Hunting variants. The Pump-action Shotgun is missing however.
IdleHands90
Is there really? I saw bolt but no lever action, I will have to double check that. You are saying that the hunting rifle and pipe guns are convertible?
tgpomy
If there aren't any, I'm sure one of the DLCs will bring them back. Hopefully at least; they were my weapon of choice in Fallout 3. Plus once the GECK releases for Fallout 4, there will be so many weapon mods. :P Edited November 23, 2015 by tgpomy
LordGrievous
There are lever-action rifles with both Pipe and Hunting variants. The Pump-action Shotgun is missing however.A bolt action and lever action are rather different. A lever-action rifle has a device under the trigger that you pull out and back to eject the casing and load the next round. A bolt-action weapon has a sort of handle attached to the bolt that you use to manually operate it. Its a similar concept, but a lever-action rifle is usually tube-loaded, where a bolt-action rifle typically has a magazine, or might be loaded from a clip for older firearms. Lever-action firearms kind of fell out of favor for a couple reasons. They're difficult to use in some firing positions, and tube loading is generally not great when your newer bullet designs have pointy tips poking at each other. There was a decent selection of lever-action weapons in NV, probably because they're an iconic part of the more Wild West theme the game had.
