iDiru
This is a bit weird and I've googled it looking for answers but the problems everyone else is having is not like mine.I run Skyrim through SKSE. The temps are always looking okay when I play it, around 60c at the highest.Definitely doesn't seem like an overheating issue. It will run fine and suddenly out of nowhere, usually with reloads or fast travels it freezes up and I have to alt tab out of it.I can't do anything where the skyrim window was. My mouse disappears in that area.I can pull up ctrl alt delete but am unable to actually click the skyrim task (which is listed as 'not responding') so it kind of f*#@s me over unless I alt tab to task manager, scroll down with my keyboard and hit 'delete' to end it.Why is this happening? Here's the first half of my dx diag.System Model: HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PCBIOS: F.33Processor: AMD A10-5750M APU with Radeon HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHzMemory: 8192MB RAMAvailable OS Memory: 7366MB RAMPage File: 2164MB used, 7058MB availableWindows Dir: C:\WindowsDirectX Version: DirectX 11DX Setup Parameters: Not foundUser DPI Setting: Using System DPISystem DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)DWM DPI Scaling: DisabledDxDiag Version: 6.03.9600.16384 64bit Unicode------------DxDiag Notes------------Display Tab 1: No problems found.Sound Tab 1: No problems found.Input Tab: No problems found.--------------------DirectX Debug Levels--------------------Direct3D: 0/4 (retail)DirectDraw: 0/4 (retail)DirectInput: 0/5 (retail)DirectMusic: 0/5 (retail)DirectPlay: 0/9 (retail)DirectSound: 0/5 (retail)DirectShow: 0/6 (retail)---------------Display Devices---------------Card name: AMD Radeon HD 8650GManufacturer: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.Chip type: AMD Radeon HD 8650G (0x990B)DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz)Device Type: Full DeviceDevice Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_990B&SUBSYS_1984103C&REV_00Display Memory: 4205 MBDedicated Memory: 749 MBShared Memory: 3456 MBCurrent Mode: 1600 x 900 (32 bit) (60Hz)Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor
Razormane
Hmm, on fastravel and on reaload. Well it's a laptop, no wonder here. Something gets stressed out. Was that temperature on gpu? Wait, it's merged right? An apu. Okay... Memory is shared as well, hate those damn... Fine, something tasks your laptop too much, maybe it's a fast load of locations, try different settings and look what will happen, maybe drivers are messy. Long time ago at launch skyrim had *freeze* issues.
