The Combat Zone(Raiders Only)

Before Fallout 4 came out and long after New Vegas was out i had a talk with a friend about a multiplayer Fallout.
He had told me that the story line doesn't necessarily fit a fallout theme. It seems more like a single player game. That made a lot of since until i got into the combat zone.

 

By that time i had already (Spoiler alert) got a set of power Armour from a town. I had prepared myself for what-ever came next. I walked into the combat zone, setting off mines and disarming them. When i got into the combat zone i was immediately bombarded with characters already shooting at each other and then me. I started to own the battlefield with me and my Minuteman companion. Soon characters were all attacking me because i was the biggest threat.

What do you ask has this anything to do with multiplayer? It gave me an idea of a multiplayer first person and or third person shooter, made by fallout. In the fallout theme, and including the power Armour suit. Now how would this work exactly? This is how i would like it to work, and if you have any ideas add them to the discussion.

I would like to see a fpshooter with the power armor as a possible piece of equipment to use. As well as stimpacks and possibly poison and or anti poison items to use. Ranging from bullets to darts and it adds effects as well.

I'm thinking that i would love to see a creation type of game where you can go into single player which will have a different type of story and world that you can scavenge and collect items to build your power armor. As well as find items to build guns or legendary guns to bring into battle. I would like to see you to be able to bring you and your friend or multiple friends into this world, as you both can play co op in it then work together to play a range of different game modes in the arena.

I would call it ~~Fallout Arena~~

Fallout Arena is a place where survivors of the Great War can come together in a all out death-match and combat in a designated society for raiders and anyone brave enough to step foot in the area. Types of games include but are not limited to ;

Team Death Match- Team, Doubles, Multi Team Doubles,
Free For All- All for One, One for All, All for None

Players work as a team to fight to the death or reach the goal to obtain a power armor suit. Then reach the goal.

Players work in 3 different modes to reach the goal. Fighting for themselves then joining a team, or playing souly for themselves. Players could play for a team but be a backstaber to obtain the win for themselves. A drastically ever-changing gameplay that is molded to the players play and tactic style. (A new way to first person shooters)

 

 

~All for one: Start out as everyone for themselves, but as you start attacking certain players you become grouped into teams, that are color coordinated. You then work together fighting the other colors as each color becomes extinct. Then when you're the last color you go to war with each other. If you so choose to start shooting a person of your team you start changing color into another team or a different color.

Possible attachments to the power armor is the headpiece can color coordinate your friends in all green and enemies all red.

Other possible items can be radio disruptors that will change enemies colors of you to friendly. Or total radio jammers. And as well as small emps to big emps. Big emps will take out all electronic devices. This will exit everyone inside a power armor.

Possible power armor options is the self destruct on death and or exit with timer.

Options can range from alot of different rules, no teamkill with same color, or allowing teamkill on the same color.

(All for one seems like in my mind a great and ever changing experience that will lead to nonstop action and excitement with the fallout theme and brand. A nice way to enjoy your night with this gamemode.

Winner is determined by the last man standing. Each player has a limit of lives. You can call an ordinance to drop your power armor if you have it. (Single player and or co-op is where you obtain your items to build a power frame. Once a power armor is destroyed, you have to build another one. You can only use one power armor per match. Use it wisely.)

 

~One for all: Teams once becomes defined into a color cannot be split. You do not fight each other after your team is the last man standing. No teamkilling, you can harm your team but will be penalized for it.

Winner is determined by the last color (team) standing. Reward is bottlecaps. Players death number or team score.

 

~Everyone for themselves: No teams ever assigned. Total everyone for themselves. Ranging death counts. Players do not have access to their own power suit, power suit is reachable apon reaching the Psuit goal.

Psuit goal is acquired by the score of your kills, double kill gets a bonus headshot gets a bonus. So on with the multi kills and such. Snipers center body mass gets a bonus.*

List of ways to kill (but not limited to);

*Kill- 100 points

*Headshot (non-sniper) +50 points

*Kill after kill = x times the number of kills.**

*(Snipers) Snipers shouldn't be a run and gun and people shouldn't be trained to shoot heads in a close style combat. Head-shots are supposed to be a stealth by need only. Arena type battles should leave snipers at long range and out of sight. Snipers one shot one kill is on the head but no bonus, not the arms or legs or feet. Sniper shot on the body should be one shot disable and almost dead to dead. You should get the same amount of points for a center body mass shot with the bonus and a kill. Sometimes the shots don't kill them, but makes them disabled and vulnerable to a kill. Leaves them bloody and passing out as they can shoot bullets. Bleed out and die. Or have someone come along and finish them off, for a point bonus called kill steal. Those who finish them off get points but not a confirmed kill. The sniper gets that. This leaves those who like to run and gun the ability to do so with snipers but not such an easy job as like games of duty" and such (not saying names here) this leaves the run and gun snipers something to honestly brag about because it will be a hard as s#*! gameplay and not squeaker easy.

**(MultiKill) Say you kill two people in repetition 2 x 100 is 200= 200 + 100 (kill) if you did a multi kill 4 kills 4x100 = 400 + 400 kills so those kills of 4 would be 800 in just kills and multi)
Snipers(center body mass) Cbm= 50 points ( I would love to see players get their arms blown off if the shot hits the arm, but you don't die, or leg.. and if leg is blown off you move lumped or arm you can only shoot with one hand. If you're only holding a pistol you switch that pistol to your other hand or pick it from the ground. Beastmode type of gamplay i would love to see is a player get his arm shot off go behind a corner patch his self up then pick up his gun and go kill the camping sniper for revenge. This would lead to the most epic video game footage i would ever see.)

***(Stab) Effects of stabbing someone should be seen and players should be able to counter stab someone. Also stabbers who get counter stabbed should be able to counter the counter somehow. It would be nice to see a fps turn into a fist fight. While youre shooting you see two people fighting fisty cuffs to the death and you just shoot them both would be epic.)



Edit: i would love to go play fallout so ill return to this.. So far how much do you like it and share your thoughts.. ill update more later. Watch my idea unfold as time goes on :)
