Using costumes from other games on characters of a certain game.

I would really love to know how to do that. If I wanna use a costume that is on a character of some game on characters of a different game.

 

For example, let's say I like a dress on one character in some game and I wanna use that dress on a character in Dead or Alive 5 The Last Round. I am interested in doing this kind modding in this game.

 

I have seen it done but I don't know how. I hope it's not too hard, since I don't know much about modding.

Just curious, why? It's not like pirating. I understand why Nexus doesn't allow it on their site, since it's technically a copyright issue, but if a player is using game ripped models why is that disliked?

You can do what ever you want in your private game.

 

As soon you share it, it's not private anymore, therefore the rule applies.

Nexus is very serious about copyright, so even discussion about ripping content are forbidden.
