HillbillyDave
So I was thinking it'd be great to be able to set up automatic lights for your settlements. To achieve this, the power relays would have a light sensor on them and when light levels drop below a specific threshold (configurable with a terminal) the relay allows power to flow through and when the light levels rise above a certain threshold, the lights turn back off. You'd need a small gap between the thresholds to keep the lights from turning on and off repeatedly during storms and such. As an example, on a scale of 1 to 100 with 100 being clear day and 1 being middle of the night, if the light level drops below 55 the lights (fed by the light sensitive relay) turn on and they turn back off when the light level rises above 60. This provides automatic timing for lights or anything else attached regardless of the cause of the darkness, whether it be a normal day/night cycle or a storm rolling through and temporarily darkening the skies. Failing that, if that's not possible, at least a relay that works on a timer so we can have automatic lights at night.
