So, I'm a writer. Legit.

Don't know what better forum to put this under, so I figure I'll put it here until someone suggests a better place for it.

 

I've done professional copywriting and speechwriting for a while now, even won some awards for prose and short screenplays. Nothing major, no, you probably can't even find much of my work Googling my meatspace name -- not unless you're the English corporate trading partner of a Chinese conglomerate, but I figure that's, like, 40% of you tops -- but I can give samples of my work upon request. You know, if you're skeptical.

I'm definitely not a synth, though, I swear.

I'm not a modder, either, per se. But if you want some help tightening dialogue, you want a proofreader, you want an editor, or if English just isn't your first language? Well, then, I'm more than happy to help you sort that out.[1]

But yeah. What if it's not just small neatness stuff?

You need help with nailing a character's voice? You have an idea that you really, really want to make a quest for, but have trouble fleshing it out? Characters, locations, backstories, terminal entries, you have the ideas! Just, you know, you want them polished before you send it out to be harshly judged by anonymous internet entities? Yeah, been there, done that, got the scars.[2]

[1]As hinted above, my specialty is translating broken Mandarin English into something more natural and fluent, but I've also had practice working with fractured Serbian, Spanish and German translations. Fun fact: Mandarin doesn't have past, present or future tense. Serbian has about eleven. They're both awful.
