Mods i would love to have in my Fallout 4 mod list:

Pre-war food scarcity - every house, after 280 years of human struggle for survival has 5 packs of sugar bombs, 2 nuka colas and a salsbury steak... we need an end to that! Every pack of pre war food should be far less common and worth a lot more! Let's replace it with post apocalyptic food made from wastelands plants and animals, but radiated. Also, maybe bring back a feature from survival difficulty from NV - hunger/thirst. (addresed in the survival mode)

Pre-war ammo and weapon scarcity - we need to see more "homemade" weapons like pipe pistols and more melee weapons (maybe make the proportions between them optional). Firearms should feel powerful and you should count every bullet - not wasting them for mole rats and ghouls! Opening pre-war army stash should be like hitting a jackpot.

Helmet toggle - helmet invisible in conversations, especially for power armors - there is already an animation for putting on/off power armor helmet (Danse uses it in one of the earliest BoS missions). To make it not clippable with equipped weapons make the animation happen only when you have your weapon holstered. (upholded)

Holstered weapons - nothing else to say in here. Maybe a suggestion to make a slots, to carry only one big weapon, rifle, small gun, melee? Biggest guns may be usable only when inside PA - a npc without it, wielding a minigun or handcanon looks just ridiculous.... (upholded, current mods with this feature (Visible Weapons), being just a weapon model slapped onto your character as a clothing, even with some scripting, are not immersive and agile enough - for example for mod added weapons...)

Power Armor Scarcity - i cannot stress it enough - Leave in the wasteland only few obtainable sets/ make fusion cores rare and expensive, make a perk for PA like in FO3 that requires training from BoS/Atom Cats. Anyhow - obtaining and maintaining a Power Armor should be pain in the ass - but totally worth it! Also, total removal of fusion cores, maybe - totally lore friendly. Take all the power armors from random raiders. Replace all BoS T-60s with older models, with only elites wearing top of the line T-60's. Not to mention enclave X-01. Change concord mission - remove PA or make Preston wear it or destroy PA after the mission. (upholded)

New idea for making PA special - make PA the frames unique - for example - you find in the wasteland a crashed vertibird, and beside it sweet PA set, what do you do? Normally: hop in (or firstly hop out of your current set), and take it to your place, hoard it. But do you really? After over 200 years pf radiation storms, salvage atempts etc, would it really work? No, the frame would have gone to s***... Scrap the PA parts left and hope to find some day, somewhere functional PA frame! And when you find one (get it from BoS for ex. or find it in some deeply buried, mutant occupied, research facility), it will be frame with history (BoS or terminals could say it), with unique attributes, textures, sounds, voiced coms?! Then, each PA piece you will find will make an addition, an upgrade, instead to be just displayed on your 23th frame... WOAH.


Power Armors Utilities - create arm mods not only for melee, like stabilizers to reduce recoil or steady scoped aim, faster reload etc.. It needs to feel powerful: mods for helmet with aimbot? Why not? Heavier steps (P.A.M.S. doing great job, go check it out!), powerful attacks sending people into the air etc. I love the fact that wearing a PA and stepping on the planks makes them break sending you down, or PA acting as deep sea exploration vechicles, unable to swim.

RR (Real Radiation) - Right now it's a joke, you don't feel it in anyway. Make it progresive - for example >20% gives you blurry vision, >30% make your aim much worse, >50%, makes your health deteoriate rapidly by itself, >80% slows you down to walking, etc. We should fear radiation. not just irritated by geiger meter beeping! (upholded - radiaiton is for me one of the most important part of post-apocalyptic wasteland...)

No More Junk Hoarding - make your settlers look for scrap instead of you. Some mechanic can be made to spot cleared location for your settlers, making them look for building materials, especially for those marked for search. Happines may define their efficiency.

Utility - Radio signal strength for signals emited from ham radios, for convinience.

NEW THOUGHTS (at my second complete playthrough, with more mods avalible,a nd GECK finally out):

Flying Prydwen: Just imagine Prydwen flying around Commonwealth, hovering over points of interests of BoS. With the system of non-fast travel onto it (vertibird taking you up from the airport), it should be possible to make it just take you to it's current location... Also flying prydwen, with cool spotlights and starting/escrting vertibirds is already in the game files (arrival) so assets are there? At least, if it's not possible, make it float in the air, up/down a bit, not just fixed in the skies like static mesh....

Just let it be a harsh game, not a simplified, console port. I realize all of these change require script extender/creation kit. :smile:
