I have a fun time with roleplaying a character who starts off with nothing, a travelling with nothing to his name, enjoying a humble life moving from place to place, earning a bit of gold here and there in exchange for farm work and what-have-you. I don't know if something like this already exists but I haven't seen anything. It'd be nice if there was a mod where you can request lodgings from a farm/home owner out in the wild or whatever. Perhaps not everyone will say yes, being a little uncomfortable with letting a stranger into their home for the night, but others may be more accommodating for a small fee. This idea came as I was starting a game breaking out of the prison in the Live Another Life mod, sneaking out through the sewers and ending up getting swept up by the current of the stream. There is a farm not too far from it. I liked the idea of my guy being found washed up on the bank, and invited to stay at the farmhouse in exchange for a bit of work as he recovers, before moving on to the next thing. Just some musings.
