Remove the animations when changing between images for a mod?

Many mods have "before" and "after" images so you can compare what the game looks like with and without a mod. But when you press left/right to change between images, there is a "zooming out" and "zooming in" animation for the images changing. Also, the images move slightly on the horizontal axis of your screen for some reason.

 

It makes it difficult to compare images because:

• The images do not occupy the same space as one another
• The animation when changing images is distracting

If images could be displayed in the same place and without any animation, it would be much easier to compare "before" and "after" shots -- your eye would only detect the differences between the shots. Also, modders would not be forced to make animated .gifs.
