kyzhuchan
Using: FO4edit I'm trying to edit Locksmithing and Hacking perk to have a requirement of 1 because I think this mini-games shouldn't have a special requirement at all. Anyways when I apply the mod and look at the perk page, this happens: Locksmithing is now transferred to pickpocketing location on the perk pageLocksmithing original location is now replaced by Strength (but the outline is still the Locksmithing perk)Hacking is now gone on the perk pageHacking original location is now replaced by Strength (but the outline is still the hacking perk) Original perk still shows on pip-boy perk pageIf I level up locksmithing on the 1st level of perception, it adds 1 perk level on it (not the pickpocketing)Can't seem to be able to click/levelup the position where lockmithing and hacking seems to be How the perk-page looks like: http://puu.sh/lBoe2/8a4ccc0268.jpg What am I doing wrong? The only thing I changed was the comparison value from 4 -> 1 for those 2 perks across 8 entries. http://puu.sh/lBora/34bdf35d93.png P.S. KimberJ
Stop cheating, or look at the cheats section of files on the Nexus. You shouldn't make this mod because you don't know what you are doing. Don't let that stop you though. You can learn from it, it's just a bad idea because it's set up as a perk to enter into the higher difficulties of picking an hacking, if the character can't do that, then you can't do that, an that's why. Access to a higher grade of loot. If you want us to fix it, then upload it an share it so we can see what you did. o/ Edited November 29, 2015 by KimberJ
kyzhuchan
you're not really helping. Also there's barely any changes on this, like that line only on 8 entries. Anyone could replicate what changes I did for like 5 minutes or less. If I just wanted to cheat, I just put player.addperk on 3 levels of lockpicking and hacking. What I want is just remove the special requirement but still need to spend perk points to unlock them. nathanlevi
I Was looking into so I could invest into building while being able to not force special points into charisma. I haven't found a solution but if I do I will message you with the answer or reply here.
kyzhuchan
well, I kinda managed to find a workaround. What I did is swap the requirements of the perk that only needs 1 special point to the perk I wanted to edit. So Pickpocket and Locksmith switches places on the perk page. Special requirements swap.Hacker and VANS the sameAlso Local leader and Cap Collector http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3899
nathanlevi
Cool that's a decent workaround. You figured out much about the positioning issue on the page.
jef9999
You need to have it go level 1 2 3 4, you can't have all of them req lvl 1 and the base rank you leave at 0 since you can put a point into anything if you have the special for it. Take a look at my mod and open it in FO4edit to see what I'm talking about http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4155/? Also quantumbutterfly has a great explanation Here Edited December 3, 2015 by jef9999
