JiroDracul Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) Hey guys, I'm about to publish my first mod, but I have a little problem (or I think it's a problem). To test it I packed everything, manually put the .rar into NMM, installed it, and it works just fine. But if I try downloading the uploaded .rar with the 'DOWNLAOD WITH MANAGER' button from the mod page, it just doesn't work and only shows me a dark grey window with nothing in it. The manual download works fine though, and I also tried downloading some other mods, which worked fine aswell with both methods. Am I doing something wrong, or does the 'Download with Manager' button only work when I publish the mod? Any help would be appreciated <3 TL;DR: Can't download my unpublished mod over the 'Download With Manager' button, is that because it's not published yet? Edited November 29, 2015 by JiroDracul

Or does it just not download at all? Sorry english is not my first language so it's hard for me to understand peoples intent.

All I have in the .rar is as following Textures/Actors/Character/BaseHumanFemale/- femalebodydirty_d.dds- femalebodydirty_n.dds- femalebodydirty_s.dds fomod/-info.xml Which if I add to NMM manually, installs with no problems. My problem is that I can't download my mod from it's nexusmod page using the 'Dowload With Manager' button. English isn't my native language either, but thank you very much for trying to help <3

I think it has to do with the antivirus scan Nexus runs on uploaded files. I usually wait 2-5 minutes and it eventually works. Edit: If you look under files there will be a grey clock icon showing you that it is still in the antivirus scan queue, or a checkmark to show its verified and available for NMM downloading. The files have been up for over 3 hours now, and the antivirus check is green. Were you able to download your mod with the 'Download With Manager' button, before you published it?I really can't think of anything else, it's either the fact that I have to publish the file first, or well, I have no idea. I just don't want to publish it with the risk of no one being able to download it :(
