A New Companion Mod in the scope of "Vilja of Skyrim"

Hey Everyone,

I guess I'm writing this post after having many great adventures with the many Mod Companions in Skyrim such as Cerwiden, Vilja, and others. Now this would be considered a massive undertaking and not for the faint of heart. I'm looking for someone to make a follower with more lines that the Companions we have, more personality, a decent questline, and can be persuaded to support a faction of your choosing. What annoyed me about most companions is the impossibility of discussing the pros and cons of different factions, why should a person agree with you and what not. I guess I hope future mod authors can get started on at least one or multiple different ideas for interesting companion mods for the future.

 

One hopeful idea I had was finding a scared young man or woman on his own facing the elements. Perhaps he was abandoned by his group or family in a dangerous region of the Commonwealth, or maybe he was driven away by something. You the Sole Survivor offer your aid in training him, teaching him to survive, and being his or her companion. Perhaps the story can involve a quest to find his group, or from another angle aid him in fighting his pursuers. As time goes on, he will be affected by your choices, perhaps not being totally morally loose, but at least being persuaded to side with things you believe in. In any case, this is all for mod authors themselves to decide. On a final note, I hope and request the following things:

 

An interesting questline to go along with this companion

At leased around 1000 lines of dialogue, perhaps more depending on what occurs.

Quest Aware, will comment on quests and locations

Has a personality that is interesting. This can go in any direction, I'm happy to be suprised.

(Optional) I'd prefer a human follower, but that's up to the author and I'd be happy with anything really.

 

I guess that's all I would like to say. I really can't wait to see what many Mod Authors create once the Creation Kit is out.
