Vagrant0
I'll do that google thing later but now I have, yet another, question. (man I feel selfish to be asking you all these questions) OBSE, I got it but won't work. It says I need to put it in the oblivion .exe folder. I did that and it says the same thing. Whats up? About the patch...the Bullet Time mod is small enough to not be courrupted by 1.2 right? I think it's size is 58.6 KB. Edit: Success! Googled it, got a bunch of threads about it popping up, fixed it.It is not the size of the files, it is what the mod changes. If you're using 1.2, you should probably avoid OBSE and anything that uses it. Have to think about mods that don't radicaly change the game... You know, minor setting changes, new items (if there isn't anything too complicated involving them), not much else unless you're willing to go through this mess again and again. 1.2 is bad, I havn't changed my signature because what it says is still true despite the few efforts bethsoft seems to be making. 1.1 is the most stable version, when you reinstall, you should look for a 1.1 patch, and use that to play, you should still be able to find the 1.1 CS and enough mods that work with it floating around. 1.2 doesn't add or fix anything, it only changes the engine to be more SI like and breaks the game. I can't recall ever seeing a v1.1, just v1.0 and v1.2.

I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the advice.I wonder why they would make a patch that is worse than the one before it. Is the quote showing wrapped up or does it look normal on my PC?
