The6thMessenger
So apparently there was a fifth ending, Minutemen + BOS + Railroad. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_endings#Ending_5:.22Hidden_Ending.22_BOS.2C_Minutemen_and_Railroad_all_alive Is this real? anyone have an idea how? Wild1234
I got it by accident... after the quest where you have to make a choice about what to do with the 5 synths (leaving out details to avoid spoilers here), I told father that I diddnt want to work with him anymore in the meeting on the building roof. Next thing I know the quests sent me off to the minutemen and all 3 factions stayed friendly at the end. But it seems like I've cut myself off from any further BOS main quests by doing this. The random quests still work though.

Wild1234
Hmm, ok... lets try those tags. Looked for an option but diddnt see it in the post editor. I will give you a guide of the steps I took and what happened below. Pardon my rambling, and beware a few of the bigger end game spoilers below: The quest I mentioned was the institute quest "the battle for bunker hill". When I was running this quest I set the synths free instead of shutting them down or killing them. When returning to CIT father was angry at the outcome so I selected the dialog options that basically said I diddnt want anything to do with the institute and he portaled away. As this cut off my access to the teleporter the remaining quests I had for the institute failed along with some of the railroad quests. My quest journal directed me to go talk to preston and once I gave them the data recording that I made of the institue computers (believe I got this from the BOS guys, I used them to make the teleporter) they found another way in. At this point I had not done any quests to make the BOS mad at me so they were all still friendly. At some point along this quest line the game failed my main quest line with the BOS to rebuild liberty prime. Also the weathervane quest for the railroad that I was on failed during the quests, but he does offer me new ones. After I went through with the minuteman plan to sneak into the institute and blow up the reactor I got the ending movie and all 3 factions remained friendly to me. The side quests still seem to work fine for all factions, and the brotherhood makes some snarky remarks about me taking out the institute with the minutemen rather than them but they still have me out gathering artifacts and documents. I did give the evacuation order prior to blowing up the reactor, dont know if that is required to keep the railroad in good graces or not. The main lady in there diddnt seem to have any reaction to the place blowing up but the others still offered me quests. And preston is also still a never ending supply of go help settlements. Hope that helps you out!
Raycheetah
I had been wondering how this would work. Thanks for the info! =^[.]^=
TantrikaX
Wow, I got this ending on my first playthrough, and totally did not know that it was special; thought it was the way Minutemen was supposed to end. Went far enough in the Brotherhood to kill Danse, then Preston told me the Institute was attacking the castle, so I went to repel them and it auto-started the Nuclear Option after. It caused me to auto-fail the quest for the Brotherhood after killing Danse, but otherwise had no change. I had already sided with the Brotherhood when going for the Agitator, but sided with the Institue during the Battle for Bunker Hill.I never made friends with the railroad, and Tradecraft failed as soon as the Minutemen sent me into the Institute. The Railroad doesn't like me and won't give me quests due to being the Minutemen leader, but are not hostile. Brotherhood is still cool with me, but everyone who is a member complains that I chose the Minutemen to blow up the Institute. Except Proctor Quinlin, he called my decision to work with the Minutemen a form of tactical brilliance, and still gives me Research Patrol quests. =DRhys and Haylen still provide radiant quests as well. Raycheetah
There's a page on the Nexus featuring this outcome (or a variant of it): http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3511/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D3511%26preview%3D&pUp=1 Sweet! =^[.]^=

Desie
I got it by accident... after the quest where you have to make a choice about what to do with the 5 synths (leaving out details to avoid spoilers here), I told father that I diddnt want to work with him anymore in the meeting on the building roof. Next thing I know the quests sent me off to the minutemen and all 3 factions stayed friendly at the end. But it seems like I've cut myself off from any further BOS main quests by doing this. The random quests still work though. Hi. I'm only starting (just starting) to consider ending my FIRST PLAYTHROUGH since November 2015 because, well mods, mods always changes (I know that was lame). But I have a question about ending 5... It sounds like to get ending 5 starts with "Battle at Bunker Hill"? I killed the silly Courser before he could utter a word and that was that! So I guess after that you tell your son he is being a bad boy and quit his faction? I really don't want to see Glory die in my playthrough. It's not a big deal and just a game, but I treat games I enjoy like a movie and if I have a way to end it the way I like well I should! Haha. Thanks guys! Yeah I should really stop modding this game and finish it by now LOL.
