PaleBluePixel
I want my character to wear (ballistic weave) newsboy cap and fashionable (or black-rimmed) glasses for the added charisma (to keep more settlers and for speech checks) but I don't want her to look any less good, so wanted to find the textures for these and black out the alpha mask to turn these items invisible. I extracted texture1.ba2 to texture9.ba2 and searched/browsed through them in explorer, but nothing seems to match. Any ideas? Is it possible that these objects don't have a texture of their own? PaleBluePixel
I found the glasses under "SlinkyDress", and I can change the texture, but for some reason the alpha mask doesn't seem to affect them, or make them transparent.Any ideas would be appreciated. PaleBluePixel
OK I found a way, I just replaced the mesh files with empty text files but correct names. Turned the glasses invisible. Probably not the way to go, but I didn't get any error message.
GuybrushMancomb
You have to enable the alpha flag in the materials file for whatever it is you're editing if the alpha mask doesn't affect anything. It's the .BGSM file that your .nif points to. Edited November 30, 2015 by GuybrushMancomb
