JeyBeeHH
Hello, anybody knows where i find the Pip-Boy map-icons?I mean the location-symbols on the Pip-Boy-map, and player-cursor/arrow. I extract all the "fallout4 - textureX.ba2" files... but can´s find the dds-file that contains the icons/Symbols :(

Fl0W
- Windows 10 can read .DDS files and show them as thumbnails in explorer.exe- you can also use IrfanView to see thumbnails of all pictures in the folder "Irfanview.exe -> file -> thumbnail"- to find specific file for your mod, it is often helpful to look into the mods that already change that specific texture/file. The resource path is probably the same of an older game engine, so it can be helpful to look into the mods of older games too (f3, fNV, Oblivion, Skyrim) If you cant find the map icons in one of the dds textures, then my guess is that they are implemented in a flash (.swf) file.Try looking in old f3/fNV mods. JeyBeeHH
Hmm so easy isn´t it. :(In Fallout 3 the map-icons are in "textures\map_icons\interface\icons\" ... but NOT in Fallout 4. :/ A .swf file should be possible... i think... but much harder to locate. :(
