When you add more RAM, both sticks have to be either the same amount, or one has to be exactly half of the other. Otherwise you're bound for a parity bluescreen. You have 4 GB, so look up who made your RAM, go on Amazon (because eBay is too sketchy) and buy the same one. Also, if you have DDR2, get DDR2. If you have DDR3, get that.
