"Cursed" Weapon?

I'm trying to create a weapon that is, in a sense, "cursed" in the traditional "cursed gear" meaning, whereas, once you take it, you can't drop it, can't unequip it, etc. until certain criteria are met.

What I'd like to do, here, is to create a weapon that, when picked up, will do the following:

1. Auto-equip on pickup, modify player skills/attributes

I have that much, thankfully, as well as a few other things that come with it, but, obviously, those aren't as much of an issue.

 

2. Gain bonus damage based on two factors: Karma and Killing People.

I understand that there is a statistic that tracks how many people you have killed, and, obviously, there's a way to look at the player's karma, namely, how low it is in this case.

However, this is where it gets tricky: I'd like to have a saved statistic for both that will add up. As a bonus, I'd like it to actually, for example, count neutral actors as 1 "point" and good ones as, say, 2. I'm not sure offhand if this is possible.

It would also be nice if I could create a damage resistance bonus based off of these, as well, possibly for a secondary item to go with the first.

 

3. Allow the weapon to be unequipped/dropped if the player's Karma is high enough.

I get the feeling this wouldn't be too, too difficult, but I figure I'll ask while I'm here, before I get too far in over my head.
