fencerdjs
Well TGStolenGoods 120 is a possibility. That stops the Independent Thievery quest. Maybe it's needed before the next one will start? You can use the console command sqt to view the stage you are at. Set the quest Independent Thievery as your active quest first and then let me know what it says. I am on a steep learning curve here. If anyone else out there can give more info, please feel free!current stage is 110 in TGStolenGoods (aka Independent Thievery). Fenced Amount is >50,000, at least 10,000 (most recently) via Fathis Ules (before he stopped talking to me :-( ) The thing I can't figure out is what triggers the change from stage 110 to 115. I figure there's a script (or something) in there somewhere, but I have no idea where it is, much less how to trigger it.
Malchik
The trigger from 110 to 115 is the fenced amount reaching 1000. It sounds possible that in changing the amount to 3000 the modder may have forgotten to reset that trigger. In that case the quest cannot end. On a separate issue you haven't accidentally got yourself expelled from the Thieves Guild by stealing from another member have you? I know it's unlikely but... I know it's unlikely but... no, i'm still a part of the thieves' guild.as far as I can tell, the trigger isn't the problem. my guess is that the variable for the amount stolen isn't getting updated for some reason. I just dled UOP, so I'm going to try applying that and see what happens. I found some topics over on bethsoft's page about this, but they're mostly greek to me. Most of them are stuck where we are, but I did find that Fran is going to be fixing this issue in his next release (hopefully). Fran's and Thieves' Guild Quests Maybe someone else will be able to make more sense of this than I? Edit: well, I applied UOP, and got nothing. I tried doing various setstages again, and still got nothing. I'm all out of ideas. Can anyone help me? I'd really like to be the Gray Fox sometime. Malchik
Check out the UESP website for commands to use to finish the quest. It's very late here atm and I haven't time to check myself.
fencerdjs
For those who care (which I doubt anyone really does, but oh well) -I ended up just using SetStage TG11Heist 102, which just skips the whole adventure in the Imperial Palace, and then used Player.AddItem 00022DB0 to add the elder scroll to my inventory, then proceeded with the quest (gave it to the gray fox, etc). From there on, it worked fine. I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't get the loot and whatnot from the IP, but oh well. At least I'm the gray fox now. yippee. Thanks go to Malchik for actually helping while others just ignored it.
