Slavemaster4u Posted December 2, 2015 Share Posted December 2, 2015 I just upgraded my computer from 8gb to 16gb. Everything computer wise is working fine. But when I try to run DAI the computer freezes. And I get a loud noise coming from inside computer. When DAI freezes the only way to stop is with power button. Neither Ctrl + ALT + Delete nor windows button will work. Can run all other games and apps on computer without issue. Deleted the profile files in save game, that didn't help.Also did a memory diagnostic check. All was good. And I also did a game repair through Origin client.DAO and DA2 working fine. Tried this 3 times. The first time it loaded the save game then froze. The second try it got to the options screen and froze. The third time it froze almost immediately upon launch. Any ideas what's causing this? Edit: Problem found. Defective ram chip. Solution; Don't buy electronics from Best Buy.
