Murk
:construction: Well, it will be here soon; I am not sure how many modders have done an extension of The siege at Firemoth mod (excellently done by Bethesda in my opinion), but this will be extremely detailed, very large, and will require a character of near godly levels to start. It will be an add-on to Siege at Firemoth and WILL REQUIRE it to work properly. I have been working on this project for about 1.5 months now in secrecy, and now that I am not working full time ( I am self employed), I am devoting 8-10 hours a day on it...until its completion. It will continue the story of the death of the tax man in Seyda Neen ( and without giving away anything), will also give a lot of history to the south of Vvardenfel and the people in the towns of Seyda Neen , Pelagiad, and Balmora. A little background of the beginnings of this mod: I started making landmass a while back to start a pirate style mod, but it never really got off the ground. I kept most of the land mass detail, and I will say that it has retained its original form for the most part. To keep things simple I will be doing "easy" scripts of the fed-ex type to speed up the process of this mod coming out sooner...... Some things to expect: 1- A large mod. 2- Underwater shipwrecks with lots of underwater lights and underwater exploration. 3- Above ground landmass equalling at least half the size of the original continent of Morrowind... 4- I am not taking into consideration conflicts with other mods that alter landmass with the exception to Siege at Firemoth. 5- Do not expect this mod to be 'easy'...... level 50 at best....although beginning the mod without completing Siege (for now on referred to as SAF) is possible at lower levels ( maybe the first few minutes into it ) 6- WILL be compatible with non altering object, landmass, etc. 7- Might be available on a Free cd (havent decided yet) 8- I will be posting updates ONLY on this forum...not on official morrowind boards. 9- Anyone willing to submit quest scripts or story ideas will have their names of this forum submitted into the game (plugin) credits. 10- Finally.......................... I will be updating and responding to anything regarding this mod on this forum only and on Friday, Saturday, and Wednesday (between 4:00 p. m. and 11:00 p.m. eastern standard time) The mod is 45% done.... in that what i hav e left is mostly npc placing and questing left to do.......the landmass and items flora etc are done. a world test was done 10 times over to see if it "works" and it does. Of course , for those interested, the best enjoyment from this mod will come from playing the game from the beginning again. ( map restraints and 'little' extras added throughout the world implemented for story purposes ). Any feedback please let me know here. I look forward to finishing this project sooner than January 15 or so.......Xmas beta is certainly within reach. Thanks all. ---Murk Penumbras (a.k.a. : Shadowseeker)
Murk
:!: Update: I will be working this weekend on my mod........so, It may be a while before I post again.....but, hopefully I will get some feedback on this one. One small reveal: Thunder mountain will begin near SAF.......underwater, in front of the entrance to a dungeon........the dungeon will be (in my opinion ) the biggest , hardest dungeon, to get through...........with levelled monsters and stuff from and donated by other modders. New effects, new items, new quests. The following other mods are under consideration for inclusion into this mod: Light based SneakingBlood and GoreNPC replacer (of course, I will be contacting the above mod makers for approval) thanks again,, and happy gaming. ---Murk Penumbras (Shadow Seeker)
