Bannock
Hey everyone, I wanted to stop by and see if anyone had figured out how to remove the sounds from fire and forget enchantments, such as the crowd cheering when the World Series Baseball Bat effect procs? The sound can be removed from the effect, but will play all the same. I also tried setting the Casting Sound Level to silent just in case, though that seemed unlikely. Am I fresh out of luck and this is simply a case of the sound being triggered by the script used to make the effect work, or am I missing something? jet4571
Just replace it with a silent sound file. In New Vegas there was silent_lp.wav that could be renamed and overwrite fx_fire_barrel_lp.wav to remove the ifre sounds. I am sure theres a silent sound file in FO4 or you could make one or use the one from FNV.
Bannock
Hi there, thanks for the reply. I tried replacing the sound file earlier, with a manhole opening sound, just to test it.Not only did the manhole cover sound not play, the cheering crowd remained to mock me. =/
Fl0W
You have to place the sound files with the exact right path and filename in the data folder. You also have to enable the capability to use "loose files" FO4ME - ModEnabler Tool the files are:Data\Sound\FX\UI\VATS\UI_VATS_TargetLock_01.wavData\Sound\FX\UI\VATS\UI_VATS_TargetLost_01.wav I made a small mod for you for this purpose, that completely removes the lock-on SFX.http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4632/? you can download end open it in FO4Edit to see what i have done to learn. You can also replace the SFX with an existing one.Good exampler would be:Data\Sound\FX\UI\VATS\ui_vats_ready.wavData\Sound\FX\UI\VATS\ui_vats_move.wav Edited December 5, 2015 by Fl0W
