Illusionarythade
So basically, I have a small little personal thing I was trying to figure out. I wanted to remove the hood and cap off the "Hooded Rags" outfit. I assume this means playing around with Nif files and meshes and such, I dabbled a little with skyrim meshes but never to this extent (Cause I used outfit studio hehe). Is there a tutorial around somewhere or resource of some kind I could use? Just need a little point in the right direction feeling very lost xD Kindest Regards, illusionarythade
ChillyDaWilly
If the hood and the body are separate then it should be as easy as going into Nifskope and deleting the hood. If they are connected, well then I have no idea.
robotized
For this particular outfit, you don't need Outfit Studio or Nifscope. The hood is a separate nif file. Outfit and hood are set as Armor Addons for the Armor. You have to override Armor records for Hooded Rags in a new plugin, remove the Armor Addon for the hat/hood. You have to also adjust Biped Slots, remove the ones for the hood(30-hair top, 31-hair long). Otherwise the outfit will make the character's hair disappear. It is important if you are using mods like Armorsmith Extended. This mod changes biped slots, adds new keywords. You will have to override the Armor records of Hooded Rags from that mod instead of Fallout4.esm, to preserve the changes it makes.
