First person view broken but third person fine?

I created a two handed sword mod,

and when you hold the sword, your hands are on the upper part of the handle and the blade, but when you're in third person both the hands are on the handle. Any idea of what could be causing this? I assumed it was something to do with the Keywords on the sword, but I don't see anything to do with first person.

EDIT: I have noticed that when swinging the sword the hands go to where they should be, but upon entering the standing position they go back to the way they were. Pictures:
