Looking for melee weapons overall plus the ones that can be moddable

So i ever since i played fallout 3, i like the idea of me being survival of wasteland.

It gave different view on isometric gameplay of fallout 1 and 2.

I want to have a feel of survival, like in dead island, when you are using melee weapons, i love that.

I do not like the idea of using range weapons in open worlds, you are loosing the feal of combat.

To take enemy head on, to feel combat firsthand.

I am bigger fun of close combat then ranged.

So i am forced to play fantasy games to get that feel.

When i am playing mad max, you can use range weapons, but your main attack are your fists.

I would love to get the same thing, unfortunatelly i cannot, number of melee weapons is just horrible.

So anyone have any mods that can recommend here ?
