Xeonusify
Hey guys, I thought I would share some simple tricks of how to make epic cinematics for Fallout 4, although some you you already know how to do it. In any case it is very easy to make epic cinematics using simple console commands and using the free camera mode on PC! A list about all console commands can be found here The most important commands to make scenic videos are these: tcl - toggle clipping (character can move freely across the map)tfc - toggle free cameratm - toggle menu (HUD and console vanish) Based on these commands you can easily end up with videos like this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJMeQAaKnUs Hope that helps for some mod makers, making nice trailers about their new mods  Cheers,Xeonus
Welcome2Stonia
I'd like to add a few important ones: sucsm (insert number) - to change the free camera speed (default was 20 I think? not sure)fov (insert number) - to change the field of view. 30-60 is zoomed in, 70-100 is close to the default setting, over 100 gives a bit of a "fisheye effect" BTW, is there any way to use the "tm" command without pausing the game? I remember New Vegas didn't pause when usign that command but FO4 pauses and that makes it useful for just screenshots, not videos
TheHexi
TM doesn't pause the game. It was just that your console was still open.
Slostenn
Some extra stuff to add: -You can use "tfc 1" to freeze the game, which is extremely helpful for action shots.-You can use "sgtm <value>" to control the speed of the game. Default value is 1, and you can go lower for slow motion (ie "sgtm 0.4"). It's more difficult than freezing time entirely, but also more rewarding.-You can move the camera vertically using LMB and RMB. @Welcome2Stonia: as TheHexi mentioned, the "tm" command doesn't pause your game, but it can be confusing because it hides the developer console as well as the HUD. After entering it, the console is still pulled up, it just isn't visible. Hit the tilde key again and you'll be able to move around. NeirDead
Don't forget "tdetect" which makes you invisible to NPC's
MissingMeshTV
Thanks for adding tfc 1. I use that a lot and I don't think it's widely known. I like doing timelapse shots using set timescale at something like 1500. The sun and moon moving across the sky combined with weather changes can give some interesting shots. Just don't forget to change it back to your original settings if you end up making a save. The FO4 wiki has all the weather commands needed to create the weather you want. fw 0002b52a is the one I know by heart. You can also use "set gamehour to" with a 24 hour clock time to get the sunlight placement or level that you want: set gamehour to 13, for example. Not directly related to camera control but more for setting up a desired shot withoutloading a game save: Use coc with a cell ID from the main menu to spawn a base level 1 character in a cell. Example, coc farm05ext will spawn you at Somerville Place. If you make a save with tfc enabled, you can quit and reload that save and tfc will still be active. This is useful for making before/after shots when you disable/enable a mod after quitting as your camera will reload in essentially the same position. I've always wondered how people managed to get before & after shots with the camera in the exact same position; I never would have thought of making a save with the free camera enabled. Thanks for sharing that.
