RussellCrowe4021
Hi there, is everyone having the same issue as I do with Nexus mod manager not removing a retexture mod completely? I have to delete the "Fallout 4\Data\textures" folder myself if I want it to be completely remove. Using the "Disable" button does not work either, nor right clicking on a mod and "uninstall from all profiles". Then I have to do it manually. What I mean by the buttons not working is it's showing that the mod has been disabled/uninstall. But in fact, the textures are still there in game and in the "Fallout 4\Data\textures\landscape" folder to be specific. I know that was an earlier issue with NMM but it is suppose to be fixed with latest updates. Is anyone relating to the same issue recently? Thanks! CBMFreak
I have the same problem...I added the space marine mod to fallout 4 and it worked fine... then I added the relic space marine to fallout 4, it turned out that those 2 mods did not like each other...Then I removed it with mod manager, but it remained in loot and all data files... then I manually deleted it... however my game still refuses to start now, even though I only have the one mod now... I really really grow tired of these constant problems with fallout 4... why did bethesda have to f*** up this game so badly?????? this is ridiculus... AGreatWeight
Disabling a mod does just that, disables it but the files will remain. To remove mod files completely, select the uninstall and delete/remove option. If NMM isn't properly uninstalling/removing mod files, it's quite likely due to the fact your using the most recent (and buggy) version that is a bit notorious for not working correctly and causing problems like this.NMM is no longer being updated or bugfixed and is offically classed as end-of-line. A new mod manager is currently being actively developed (one of the devs is the creator of Mod Organiser, so this brand new manager will be user friendly for new modders, and feature rich for veterans. Keep your eye on the News section on the main page of Nexusmods for further info.I'd suggest you visit this github page with a link to the last version of NMM that works correctly, and it should relieve this issue for you. Also, read Damanding's response in this thread for further info. edit: edited for clarity. mkr1977
Also note that NMM will not properly remove UI mods.
