Nephatrine
So, I'm trying to make the SetDressing\TrashBin\TrashBinStatic02.nif model place-able in workshop mode as a usable object (i.e. not a static). Problem is... it wants to sit buried underground with only the very top visible for some reason. Changing the bounds of the object in Fo4Edit doesn't have any effect at all to alleviate that either. In fact, even changing the bounds to something radically different seems to have no effect. I opened up the mesh in nifskope and translated the top-level block 85 units along the Z axis. This makes the model appear to rest flat on the x-y plane in nifskope, but didn't do anything in-game. So I reverted that back to 0 and instead translated the individual mesh components by 85 in the Z direction. Now I can place the trash bin in-world and it sits on the ground visually! BUT.... there is no collision anymore and the area that you "activate" is still below the model underground. How the heck do I move everything up higher? I can make it look like its on the ground, but the game clearly thinks it's actually below the surface. EDIT: This is actually fixed now. After adding pasting over the collision block with the one from TrashBin01 and fiddling with the Z translation on all the various pieces they finally place correctly and work as-placed. Feel free to delete this topic as I have no idea how to. Edited December 4, 2015 by Nephatrine
