GWP14
I am not affiliated with ReShade development at all, but I have noticed that most presets on the Fallout 4 nexus break many of the terms and regulations that ReShade requires of the people who download it. When a user downloads ReShade, they accept that they have to follow the rules that follow uploading their own preset onto other websites. It doesn't seem right that Moderators on the nexus stop people from uploading the ENB binaries but they don't even mention or let alone do anything to stop people from uploading the framework source shaders onto the nexus. Again, I am not in any way a part of ReShade's team, but I would think that a website with such high reputations such as the nexus would monitor if people are following rules set by developers that have spent time and effort into making binaries and effects for people to reupload if they follow the terms and regulations correctly. Just to make sure you know what I am talking about when I say rules. I am going to explain what most people do when they upload a preset, and what they do incorrectly when uploading. First, if you add the bianary of ReShade into your files, you have to include the EULA to correctly follow the what rules have been set. Many people add the binaries into their file and rename it to dxgi.dll without even adding the needed files to give proper credit to the creators. The other mistake that people make is that they upload the framework source shaders into their files. In the terms and conditions set by the creators, they can only include the .cfg files located in the "ReShade" folder, and the source files have to be deleted and downloaded at the ReShade website. I hope a moderator or some other person will read this and ask themselves why people are not closely regulating the files that are included in presets like they do for ENB. -GWP14
