SilverbladeTE
in Project Nevada for New Vegas, there were some items that gave a sort of thermal vision effectIt was a very cool form of black and white, and crucially, interact able objects like dead bodies, as well as enemies and booby traps, would show up as white this would be SO great for Fallout 4, especially because it's so damn hard to find dead bodies in the game! :P I don't know if it's currently possible, or need to wait until the GECK comes out? I'd suggest making it require lvl 3 or 4 Science perk, or be a very expensive item on some specific traders like 1500 caps, to keep it potent and desired, but not too easy to get/useAdd it to power armour helmets as a mod, and certain sunglasses, wrap around spectacles or such? I'd also suggest letting it highlight creatures in red as you can do with certain power armour mod and a specific chem in FO4,also add the "tracking red diamond"perhaps by mods or such the user could add?so you get the choice what effects to add or not.keep them requiring Science perk and rare/expensive components like fire optics if folk want it further limited, have it powered by a fusion core for a set period: 3 in game days to a week per core?with a thin, and I do mean a THIN horizontal bar on the HUD showing it's current charge:)

If you browse around a bit, there's quite a few mods that utilize the power armor targeting HUD, likes ones that can be modded into glasses, or detect mines/traps.
