Crash to desktop after beta update / editing .ini files

My problem is that fallout 4 crashes a few seconds after starting the game. This happens when I edit the fallout4prefs.ini file to [Launcher]

bEnableFileSelection=1. It doesn´t crash with bEnableFileSelection=0. Problem is I think you need the first version (and an other change in the fallout4.ini file I made) to be able to use mods.
I use NMM for managing my fallout mods and it all went well until I installed the new beta patch. Now I know that this patch causes problems with mods (disables all plugins) so I uninstalled the beta patch and let steam download the old vanilla files again. But the Fallout launcher still keeps disabling all plugins anyway.
I already tried to change the plugins.txt file to read only and in fact the plugins stayed enabled when I launched the game, but this also causes a crash to desktop after seconds.
So any ideas how I could run the game AND use all my mods? (only the mods that use plugins don´t work) Everything worked so well before installing this damn beta patch :pinch:
