I have used it *once* for a mod test, and found it to be incredibly soul destroying - to skill, no challenge.

Anyway, if I run into trouble I've got my awesome custom spell - weakness to magic 100%, Weakness to Fire 100%, Fire Damage, ditto frost and shock. All on one spell. Insane damage low cost. Its so good its almost a cheat!

A spell like that would cost thousands of mana points, so...it is a cheat.

There is no Enemy in Tamriel who could beat me.

After all, you cant beat something you cant see. 100% Chameleon ftw :D

To reach 100% Cham i dont need to enchant all the Armor with it. A Kajiiti Ring and Chameleon Sigilstones will do good. Every other Armorpiece is enchanted with "feather". Now can carry 1000 "WeightUntis" as silent as a Cloud :D

Nope, I made it in the Mages University. It only does 12 damage for each, but multiply it up and its ridiculous. The weaknesses only need to be for 1 sec, and by spreading your damage over several elements you also keep the cost down.

Yes, I TGM for one and only one reason:

(spoiler, duh.)

The Ghostly/Spectral things made with OOO. Whose idea of fun ARE these?! I can kill Falcar, the other guy with the Necromancer's Amulet, and even MANNIMARCO, but the bloody random Ghostly/Spectral Warriors have owned my Mage, Archer, Ninja, AND Warrior with easy. With the Archer, I've finally given up and just started using TGM/Blade of Woe to kill them...eventually. They also have an uncanny knowledge of where I am, and tend to come in packs of 2-5. GAH. Did I mention they stagger me every other hit with 70+ agility?

Never ... because I'm not stupid enough to save a game just before I die :P

I could not have said it better. dieing and starting again from a save are part of the game. Using god mode takes all the fun out of the game. Using your brain and imagination is much more fun.

I use TGM sometime when I first start a Character, because i am a noob. But after that i try to use it as little as possible. It takes the fun out of the game if you use it too much.

I had the same problem till I tried a level slowing MOD which allows you to develop your stats at a much slower rate and you meet less of those bad guys that are the same level but who have better skills. Getting to a high level as quick as you can is not the way to play this game, Depending on how much slower you level up (mine is 2x-5x slower) you could finish the game, KOtN and be Level 30 or so. Rushing up levels to get the fancy weapons and armor won't do you much good if you don't have the skills to use them well. Just my opinion you understand

I use tgm when I'm playing through a mod-quest that was made by someone with a sick sense of humor. That is, I did until I began my Extreme Conditioning program. When I need an extra push, I repair my armor and weapon above 10% and unleash my atronach-stockpiled magicka.

Having a 20gb Saved Games folder helps. That's right, we're talking thousands of saves. All for one character.

In case you were wondering, I've been playing oblivion for two months (to weeks in january, then this month and a half).

I don't use TGM- if I run across a bit I can't beat, I turn down the difficulty setting after trying it a few times- which is sadly necessary all too often on a merely average system when a big gaggle of enemies appears. When I can, though, I just use stealth so I won't need to tune difficulty much less use TGM.
